The prompt

I want to give a short poem for . Don’t write it yet. Ask me up to five questions, one at a time, to collect the particulars: an object of theirs, a habit, something they always say, a place that is ours, a small moment I’ve never mentioned to them. Then write a poem of no more than twelve lines made from those details. No rhyme unless I ask for it, and none of the big words such as love, heart, soul or forever. Let the details carry the feeling. Use my phrases where you can. Afterward, give me two other possible last lines, and point to the line you think is weakest, so I can rewrite that one myself.
