The prompt

I want to understand well enough to . Don’t start by explaining. Ask me three quick questions, one at a time and each harder than the last, to find where my knowledge stops. Then teach me from there in small pieces. After each piece, ask one question that makes me use it, and wait for my answer. If I get it wrong, explain that piece a different way and ask again before going on. Don’t praise an answer that’s only half right. Stop after eight pieces, or sooner if I can do what I wanted. Finish with a page I can test myself on: questions with short answers, the ones I missed first. Flag anything you’re unsure of and tell me how to check it.
