I want to find where I could get better without trying harder: one place where a change of method, timing or setup would do more than extra effort. Don’t answer yet. Ask me up to six questions, one at a time, about what I’m working at, where the effort goes, and where results have stalled. Then name the one place and show the evidence from my answers. Tell me what to stop doing and what to do instead, and give me a one-week test with a clear way to tell if it worked. Advice that amounts to more discipline doesn’t count. Don’t flatter me, and say where you’re guessing. Be direct. No padding and no reassurance I did not ask for.

Tell us it worked.
