The prompt

Tone

There are things about how I behave or come across that other people probably notice and I don’t. Help me find those blind spots. Don’t answer yet. Ask me up to seven questions, one at a time, about recent friction, feedback I’ve brushed off, and things I often end up explaining or defending. Pay attention to how I answer, not only to what I say. Then give me up to three likely blind spots. For each: the evidence from my answers, how it probably looks from the outside, and how confident you are. Leave out anything that would be true of most people. Finish with one question I could ask someone who knows me well to check the biggest one. Don’t flatter me, and don’t turn a blind spot into a hidden strength. Be direct. No padding and no reassurance I did not ask for.
