The prompt

Tone

I’m not the best at any one thing. I suspect what’s unusual about me is the combination, and I can’t see it from the inside. Interview me to find it. Ask up to eight questions, one at a time, about my work, my interests outside it, what I’ve kept doing longer than most people would, and the odd pairings in my history. Then give me the two or three skills or traits that are rare together, the evidence from my answers, and three situations or kinds of work where the mix is worth more than any single part. Put the combination in one sentence I could say out loud. Skip anything that would be true of most people my age. If my mix turns out to be common, say so, and say how sure you are. Be direct. No padding and no reassurance I did not ask for.
