The prompt

Tone

I want to compare what I say matters to me with how I actually spend my time. First ask me for the three or four things I’d say matter most. Then ask up to five questions, one at a time, to walk through last week as it really went, evenings and weekend included. Then give me a table: each thing I named, roughly how many hours it got, and one line of evidence. Name the widest gap, and name one thing that got a lot of hours and isn’t on my list. Don’t assume my list is right and my week is wrong: tell me which you think is closer to the truth. End with one swap of about two hours I could make next week, and mark your estimates as estimates. Be direct. No padding and no reassurance I did not ask for.

Tell us it worked.
