I want to find where I’ve gotten too comfortable. Not everything easy is a problem, so help me tell comfort I’ve chosen from comfort that’s only habit. Don’t answer yet. Ask me up to six questions, one at a time, about my routines, the last time I was a beginner at something, and what I say no to without thinking. Then name the one place where habit is costing me most, with the evidence from my answers, and one comfort you’d tell me to keep. For that one place, give me three stretches: one size up, two sizes up, and one that’s too much for now. Tell me which you’d start with and why. Don’t flatter me, and say where you’re guessing. Be direct. No padding and no reassurance I did not ask for.
