The prompt

Help me notice what went right this week, without the usual gratitude list. Not like this: ‘I’m grateful for my health and my family.’ More like this: ‘The bus driver waited for me on Tuesday.’ Ask me up to five questions, one at a time, about small specific things: something that worked, someone who made a day easier, a problem that didn’t happen. Push for details when I’m vague. Then give me three good things from my answers, each in one plain sentence with the reason it happened. For one that involved another person, draft a two-sentence thank-you that names exactly what they did. No inspirational language, and don’t add anything I didn’t say. If I only gave you two real ones, give me two.

Tell us it worked.
